2nd US and BW

Today I had my 2nd US and E2 bloodwork.  I was told that everything was looking good thus far.  I have to decrease the amount of stimulation meds I take tonight cause I think my follies are growing a little too fast.  Other than that, I'm on track for my ER early next week.  Probably Monday 6/6/11.  We'll see....

IVF #1

So I haven't posted in a long while but I'm back now. The last time I posted I was getting ready to start my first IVF cycle.  That cycle went on to be cancelled due to low iron count.  Once I got that under control, my next cycle was also cancelled due to a polyp found in my uterus.  I had that removed and had to wait another month to recover.  Now on to the present.  My first official IVF cycle.  I've taken my birth control pills.  I've taken my Lupron.  I started the stim meds tonight.  I go in for my next ultrasound and bloodwork on 6/1, next Wednesday.  I'm so anxious about this cycle.  I really hope it works. *fingers crossed*  The next update will probably be sometime after my next ultrasound to see how big my follicles have grown.  Until then....  

Obsessed...

I must admit I am completely obsessed with all things baby. Baby tv shows, baby blogs, pregnant women I know, baby clothes, baby magazines. I just continue to torture myself and I know its not healthy. I just hope that one day soon I won't have to feel guilty about all this baby obsession.

Okay. So I think I'm officially going to change this blog to my journey with IVF and infertility because that seems to be what's consuming my life right now. I also think it will be a great way to release some of the stress I have surrounding this whole infertility issue.
Here's to a baby in 2011!!!!

I just got my 8th pair of glasses yesterday. I've been told all my glasses look alike.

Hello everyone out there. This is my first official post of 2011 and my first post ever!!! I follow a lot of blogs but have never attempted to create one for myself.
